Warning
During busy times in Banff, many hotels overbook. There is a good chance that instead of the nice hotel you were expecting, you get moved to one of their dumpy properties. The Inns of Banff is very bad for this but the practice is widespread.
Warning
Many staff in Banff are temporary and seasonal workers. Don't expect to get good advice from local staff. If your looking for suggestions, first ask how long they have lived in Banff.
