Overview
For a small town, Banff has a vibrant nightlife. It still is a small town though so deciding where to go at night shouldn't be hard. Banff has a young population and they love to party. The easiest way to get the night started is to just go downtown and walk into whatever pub or bar you find. There are a lot of bars within 2 blocks downtown, so it can be fun just to explore and see where the night takes you. There can be a lot of police in a small area at night, so do not expect to get away with much or to have much luck with black market shopping.
